PCTEST Performs Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) Testing per Canada’s ISED RSS-102

Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada has released a new requirement for Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) due to RF Exposure from low frequency transmitters per RSS-102 and Health Canada Safety Code 6. This includes any radio apparatus that emits energy in the 3 kHz to 10 MHz frequency range which may include electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems, metal detectors, radio frequency identification (RFID) exciters, readers and tags, tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS), vehicle security systems and wireless chargers.
